The Boston Design Center renovation added two new entrances along the Innovation & Design Bldg’s retail-oriented “Promenade” and revamped the interiors with new lobbies and event spaces, to bring an innovative and collaborative environment to the design community. The signage utilizes a mix of bronze and blackened steel as an accent to the exposed concrete of the interiors. Sepia-toned photo murals were introduced to enhance wayfinding and reflect the nautical history of the location.
