Committed to creating informed, functional design, John Marksbury has developed graphic identity systems, wayfinding and donor-recognition sign programs, interpretive displays, and marketing communications for a variety of major private and public organizations nationwide, including Harvard University, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and New England Organ Bank. As lead designer and project manager, John is involved in all aspects of the design process, from concept to implementation. His background in graphic design and studio art inform creative and inspired solutions, and his 20 years experience in signage and wayfinding bring them to fruition through detailed documentation and close client and contractor relationships.
In addition to his work with Roll Barresi & Associates, John has managed and led design on numerous projects in the field of health care, including Northwestern Medicine’s hospital campus and outpatient signage and wayfinding standards.
John received his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Franklin and Marshall College and his Certificate of Design in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
