What a Loving and Beautiful World

The new Johnson-Kulukundis Family Gallery at Byerly Hall opened this fall with a multimedia installation by the Japanese group, teamLab.
“What a Loving and Beautiful World,” is an exhibit unlike anything I’ve seen before. Although it is high tech, the immersive experience leaves you feeling warm and enveloped in an imaginary world in which the outcomes are uncertain.
TeamLab, a collective of artists, engineers, and computer scientists based in Japan, has created several such experiential multimedia installations around the world, but this exhibit at The Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study is only teamLab’s second in the United States, so don’t miss this opportunity to check it out.
The exhibit is open and free to the public until November 14th. (Open Monday–Saturday Noon–5pm)
